Shannon Egleson - Lead Teacher Trainer
Shannon graduated with a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence in Dance and Psychology. She studied dance at the Alvin Ailey certification program. Originally introduced to Pilates through her dance training, she immediately fell in love with the classical method. Shannon received her Pilates training from Power Pilates in New York City in 2004, studying directly with master instructors Bob Liekens and Susan Moran. She joined the team at Equinox in 2005, teaching at their flagship club in NYC. She is now the Pilates Coordinator at the Equinox Boston Dartmouth Street location. Shannon is pleased to be a part of the teacher training team at Equinox.
Lauren Barford - Lead Teacher Trainer
Lauren Barford discovered Pilates while working as a Music Industry Executive, the grueling hours and stress took a toll on her body but Pilates became her saving grace and new found passion. Taking a leap of faith, she left her corporate job to embark on a new career and became a classically trained Pilates instructor. Lauren is dedicated to helping clients find their true strength through movement and feels rewarded when clients see amazing changes in their bodies. Lauren is also a certified yoga instructor. She has been working for Equinox since 2012 and is thrilled to be a part of the Teacher Training Program in Boston.
Holly Quaglia Wells - Teacher Trainer
Holly Quaglia Wells is a third generation traditionally trained Pilates teacher (under the training lineage of Master Teacher Romana Kryzanowska - Joseph Pilates' protege). She is passionate about seeing lives changed and empowered through Pilates. She brings an energy to her sessions that encourages and aids in building confidence in her clients to see and believe in their own potential and ability. Holly is the Pilates Coordinator for Equinox Chesnut Hill and joined the Equinox teacher training team in 2014.
Kerri Williams - Teacher Trainer
An avid Pilates practitioner, Kerri was first introduced to the Pilates Method as a young dancer for injury prevention. After graduating from Fordham University/The Ailey School with a BFA in Dance Performance, Kerri was invited to complete her comprehensive apparatus teacher training at Power Pilates in NYC under the direction of Bob Likens. Following the completion of her apprenticeship, Kerri established a client base in NYC, Boston and Europe. Over her 10 year teaching tenure, Kerri has become PMA certified and taken various classical and contemporary Pilates continuing education credits. Kerri completed her post-baccalaureate coursework at Harvard University and received her subsequent Doctoral degree at MGH Institute of Health Professions. She currently practices as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts, where she sees a largely orthopedic caseload, and is part of the PT staff for the Boston Ballet. Kerri seeks to utilize the Pilates method to help her patients and clients reach their goals, and is very excited to join the teacher training staff at Equinox Boston!
